At RYDE, we believe every child deserves access to movement, mentorship, and meaningful opportunities—regardless of financial circumstances.

Our Community Access Pathway removes barriers to participation while honoring dignity, flexibility, and choice.

​

GEM Membership: A Flexible Way to Dance

The GEM Membership is a non-commitment option for school-age students who want to experience studio dance classes at RYDE but cannot afford standard monthly tuition.

​

GEM Members Enjoy:

  • Reduced-cost studio classes

  • Month-to-month enrollment

  • No recital or costume requirements

  • A supportive, inclusive studio environment

 

Who It’s For:

  • Students transitioning from Outreach programs

  • Families navigating financial challenges

  • New dancers exploring studio training

 

GEM Memberships are available through family support, donor sponsorship, or a combination of both.

Sponsor a GEM: Community Support Opportunities

 

Community members, businesses, and partners may support access through the Sponsor-a-GEM initiative:

​

  • $30/month — Supports one GEM dancer

  • $150 — Sponsors a semester

  • $300 — Sponsors a full year of access

​

Sponsor support helps cover instruction, studio access, and program administration while preserving dignity and choice for participating families.

​

Unlike traditional scholarship models, the GEM Membership is intentionally designed to remove barriers without labeling students or lowering expectations, while ensuring strong instructional quality and accountability.
